This work draws on the cyanometer, a scientific instrument developed in the eighteenth century to measure the intensity of the sky's blue. Through gradual color transitions, it explores the urban atmosphere in terms of color, light, and environmental relationships.

Installed on the second-floor balcony of the historic Liebling Haus, the work is suspended within a transparent frame, resembling a jewel or a compass through which viewers can look toward the surrounding environment and the sky. Its placement allows it to be experienced from three distinct vantage points: from the balcony itself, from the staircase through an interior window facing the work, and from the street, as an external view of the building.

Within the project, the cyanometer is transformed into a visual compass, a device for observation. It directs the viewer's gaze upward toward the expanse of the sky, functioning as a tool for recalibrating attention and reconnecting with the surrounding environment: from the built to the atmospheric, from the spatial to the sensory.
