Each piece in the series "Edelsteine" (In German: Gemstones) traces a natural stone, mineral, or crystal, transforming its color range into an abstract, repetitive, circular form. The connection between the color spectrum and the qualities or virtues each stone represents is speculative, yet it emerges organically as an active internal logic.
